Kester has expanded its origination and angle creation capability with the appointment of Hamish Paget-Brown as Vice President. Hamish previously spent 6 years in ECI Partners' origination team, identifying and developing investment opportunities across the UK mid-market and supporting portfolio companies on the execution of their M&A strategies.

The appointment represents a further step in Kester's continued investment in its team and platform. It follows the close of Kester Capital Fund IV at its £425 million hard cap and the firm's recent investment in Databalance, a leading managed IT services platform for the Dutch upper mid-market.
