Addresscloud represents Kester’s sixth investment from its latest fund, Kester Capital III, which closed at its hard cap of £200 million in March 2024. The investment underscores the firm’s momentum in 2025, following its investment in Re-flow, a provider of field service management software to the critical infrastructure industry, and supporting Evestia Clinical’s acquisition of Atlantic Research Group, a US-based clinical research organisation.
Addresscloud is a fast growing information and data leader with an exceptional reputation in providing insurers with geospatial risk solutions across their underwriting journey. Addresscloud enables its customers to understand peril and climate risk in granular detail, resulting in faster and more informed underwriting decisions.
Addresscloud is well positioned to capitalise on strong market growth, principally driven by increasing digitisation of insurance workflows and greater proliferation of data within the property insurance underwriting process. Kester’s investment will enable Addresscloud to accelerate its organic growth trajectory, support investment in go-to-market capability, new product development, and strengthen its presence in the UK and internationally.
The Addresscloud transaction builds on Kester’s exceptional track record within the subscription information and data subsector and follows its previous investments in DC Byte, data centre intelligence and Vixio, regulatory intelligence from which Kester realised 4.8x recently.
Mark Varley, CEO & Founder of Addresscloud, said: “We are excited to announce this investment from Kester, marking the next phase of Addresscloud’s story. Kester’s track record and significant experience in partnering with high growth information and data companies, as well as their deep knowledge of the insurance industry, shone through. In partnership with Kester, we are eager to capitalise on the significant opportunity we have ahead of us over the coming years.”
Cameron Crockett, Managing Partner of Kester Capital, said: “Addresscloud is an exceptional information and data business operating in a highly attractive market that Kester know well. We are delighted to be partnering with Mark and the team to help realise Addresscloud’s potential as a global leader in insurance data.”
